Funding chain · Solana · read-only

Where did the first SOL come from?

A new wallet needs SOL before it can do anything, and that first deposit is public. Paste a wallet to follow its funding back: the first sender, who funded them, and so on, up to four hops or until it reaches an exchange.

Hops:
We never ask for your seed phrase. Only a public address is needed.

Paste an address above. Each hop pages back up to 8,000 signatures to find the oldest transaction. A full 4-hop trace takes 2–20 seconds.

How it works

Analysts start with the first deposit. So should you.

If you can follow your own wallet back to an exchange in two clicks, so can anyone else.

1 · Oldest transaction

We page the wallet's signature history back to the start and read its oldest transactions.

2 · First incoming SOL

The first transfer (or account creation) that sent SOL to it names the funder, with amount and date.

3 · Repeat

Then the same for the funder, up to 4 hops. Results per hop are cached for 6 hours.

Where it stops

At a labelled exchange (KYC takes over from there), a program, a wallet with more than 8,000 transactions (usually a service or bot), or a loop.

What to do with this: if a wallet you want kept apart traces back to one of your known wallets or an exchange account, assume that link is visible. Funding a new wallet from a wallet that is already public tells everyone they belong together. This site does not offer or recommend ways to hide where funds came from.
